Christina Giacona

Executive Director and Clarinetist

Dr. Christina Giacona is a native of Los Angeles, California. Currently, she is the executive director of the multimedia ensemble LANME and an instructor of Native American Music at the University of Oklahoma. As a high school student she studied with Kalman Bloch, principal of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Other teachers of note are Julia Heinen, Keith Lemmons, and David Etheridge.

Associate Director and Violinist

Patrick Conlon, Canadian-American violinist and composer, has been highly praised for both his artistry as a composer and his playing as concertmaster, chamber musician, and soloist. As a composer and violinist he has performed and written for the Los Angeles New Music Ensemble, Scissortail Productions, Tulsa Philharmonic, Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, OKMove, the New Century Ensemble, the Paul Bailey Ensemble, AMP, SoundCat, More Than Music, and many others.

Zachary Reaves

Cello

Zachary Reaves began playing cello at age ten. Since then he has become a regular performer of solo, chamber, and orchestral music. He received his Bachelor's of Music degree in Cello Performance from Southern Methodist University. Zachary completed the Performer Diploma program at the Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University. There he studied privately with renowned soloist and chamber musician, Andres Diaz, as well as Christopher Adkins, principal cellist of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.

Izzy Hance

Flute

Elizabeth Hance, more commonly known as Izzy, began studying flute at the age five. She has studied with Dr. Jennie Brown from Wheaton College Conservatory of Music, Dr. Valerie Watts from the University of Oklahoma, and Terri Sundberg from the University of North Texas. During her time at Wheaton, she was Co-Principal of the Wheaton College Symphony Orchestra, a member of the award-winning trio, Futura, and served as Vice-President and President of the Wheaton College Symphony Orchestra Cabinet. After graduating in May 2010, with a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance and Conducting Cum Laude, she became Principal of The University of Oklahoma Symphony Orchestra and The University of Oklahoma Wind Symphony. Izzy was also an active member of The New Century Ensemble.

Kelly Haley

Kelly Haley, a Pennsylvania native, is the flutist for LANME. Ms. Haley graduated cum laude from Ohio University with a degree in Music Education and a Certificate in Performance. She has performed at various CBDNA and CMENC conventions and in 2004 performed in two concerts at the National Flute Association Convention.
